The World
I went to see The World's Fastest Indian a couple of days ago with Jasmine and some friends.

According to IMDB: "The life story of New Zealander Burt Munro, who spent years building a 1920 Indian motorcycle -- a bike which helped him set the land-speed world record at Utah's Bonneville Salt Flats in 1967."

It was fantastic! At first Jasmine was hesitant about my choice, thinking it was going to be a "bloke" movie, but it wasn't very long before she started enjoying herself, and eventually came away loving it. It was very funny and touching, but also inspirational and uplifting. Burt Munro is portrayed as an unashamed individualist who cares not a whit for the opinion of the mediocre masses. Mindless bureaucrats are also pilloried on a few occasions. Anthony Hopkins did a great job as Burt Munro, though I'm not sure about his accent. :)

My favourite quote from the movie: "It's my life, isn't it?"
