After debating on the Is circumcising an infant an initiation of force? thread, I decided to do a little research myself on Circumcision and Foreskin Restoration!

Information about the function of the foreskin:
Circumcision Information and Resource Pages.

Comparison of intact vs circumcised:
Intactivism Pages

Foreskin reversal information:
CIRP
CIRP
Circumcision information resource centre

Groups:
National Organization of Restoring Men

Diary:
Paul Russo (pictures)

So it looks like men can restore some functionality of the foreskin. You'll never get back the highly sensitive nerve filled frenulum or the normally inner foreskin... but you can:
1. Restore the glans (the head of your penis) to its normal state, which lacks the protective thick keratinized skin layer.
2. Restore your skin to its original more mobile functionality, which numerous benefits during sexual intercourse like less damaging friction during intercourse and keeping lubrication inside of the vagina.

I'm going to try to restore my foreskin. Feel free to ask me in 3-12 months how its going, whether I am still doing it, and if I've noticed any differences.

Dean,

Good for you. For study control, you have to sleep with Ashley before and after so that we can get her feedback on the effect restoration has on your apparent level of enjoyment.

I gave some thought to a different procedure, but decided against. This quack was saying he could restore me by removing a third of my length. He said the skin I had would behave as uncut after that. I was like, “I’m not sure that’s worth a whole inch!”

Jon, that is what I call "a solution worse than the problem"!

Dean, that non-surgical approach looks interesting.  Do alert us in a few months to let us know if it really works and whether the results warrant the effort.

Thanks for researching this and posting the informative links!

I am glad we had this discussion thread.  I had wondered for a long time if male circumcision had any merit.  The preponderance of evidence clearly says no.

Heheheh, all the embarassment I suffered as an uncut male in the junior high locker room seems suddenly worth it ....
