Don't let Linz get you down. Excellent choice, Ross.

I echo Linz: HUH? (but for different reasons; AC/DC? Ross, you forgot to change the default artist!).
Great album. Would be perfect without "I'm in Touch With Your World." Otherwise, excellent. "Moving in Stereo" segues smoothly into "All Mixed Up." Made me want to play keyboards as a tike.
When I get too proggy, I put this on. Never big on punk, but I like New Wave. A good example of fun rock. "LET THE GOOD TIMES ROLL!".

Never necessarily a huge Cars fan, but I'm always happy to see some new wave listed.

You're all insane. Psycho headbangers.

Ross—this had better not be that housewarming gift you promised. :-)

Trust me, Linz, anyone caught headbanging to The Cars should get a prompt ass-kicking.

You can bop your head a little, though. New Wavers don't have the hair for headbanging.

*Imagining someone with a Flock of seagulls haircut headbanging*

Frightening.

Flock of Seagulls?!?!?!?! DIE DIE DIE AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

I love lots of, what I call, "Crappy 80's music" (TM) but Flock of Seagulls? It makes me want to run, run so far away.

Lindsay:

"Huh?"

What?

Ash:

"early forties?"

Huh?

For the rest of you guys, if you want a real blast, grab The Cars DVD featuring their 1979 German(!) TV appearance. They play all the songs from their eponymous album plus a couple from Candy-O. The picture quality is lacking & the sound is barely acceptable but I think this is the only extant Cars in concert.

Ric Ocasek could fly to Fiji with those ears & Benjamin Orr is outstanding on bass &, if I may wax *temporarily* metrosexual, sublime in black leather pants :-)
