The "Rape of Europa" is the myth that tells of the subjugation of the matriachy by the patriarchy. The struggle continues, of course. There is a theory that businesses owned by women (and built by cooperation) will eventually outlast those owned by boards of men who "conquered" markets. We can only wait and see.
The war of the Christian church against "witches" is an example of this continuing encroachment by the takers.
