I spent the rest of my shift steamed at how much had been stolen out my paycheck, and when a couple of girls soliciting donations for their school cheerleading squad tried to hit me up for money, I told them to go fuck themselves. I've been telling people soliciting donations to fuck themselves ever since. I owe society nothing. In fact, given how much has been stolen from me by the government in the name of society, I'd say that society owes me something: an apology.
