| | Great point, Tibor.
In my home state, a cable TV show just aired -- investigating economic impact of our recent smoking bans. Many business owners remarked that business was down 25-75%!
One gal owned a bar, and had to fire many employees -- just to stay out of the red. One guy rents coin-operated machines to bars (pinball machines, cigarette machines, and other machines), he said he lost three-fourths of his clientele, after the ban. Many others were interviewed -- all with the same general story.
Unanimously these business-men and -women, these pillars of the economic 'health' of society, remarked that the difference is like night and day.
Talk about 'failing' to 'succeed'!
