I read the letter too, Duncan, and I had to read it again. Although it was poorly worded, I think Pardon was expressing that referring a religionist (Anthony Stone) to Rand’s works is akin to referring an Objectivist (you) to Hitler’s works. i.e. the viewpoints are that opposed. Maybe I have too generous an interpretation of it. 

A good rejoinder might be to suggest that religion’s view of the world and Hitler’s view of the world share the same ethical base: altruism.
