| Description I am an Objectivist. I have lived in Brazil for over 30 years. Now I'm in the USA (Florida for now) but I travel a lot.
I did Objectivism the hard way - full immediate conversion, life experiences in another culture taken straight with no chaser, high-adrenaline detours, then back to the Objectivist fold.
The two Objectivist experiences that had the deepest impact on me were reading Atlas Shrugged in my teens without having read anything by Ayn Rand previously, then The Passion of Ayn Rand by Barbara Branden right when it came out, when I was highly enmeshed with some of the curve balls life throws at you.
I have worked in classical music, entertainment, translation and international finance in addition to some pretty offbeat activities. I have recently been described as an adventurer. That sounds about right.
I met the love of my life, Katherine Lynne Wheeler (Kitten), here on Solo. We are engaged to be married.
What I most hate in life is hypocrisy. What I most love is finding truth - about myself, others and the universe I live in - and living it.
