Yes, I have the jadu powers
For flawless retribution,
A ploy to blight offending flowers,
Avoiding prosecution.

For those who offer you their worst,
A mental incantation
To leave them singularly cursed
Beyond all commutation.

Hear the tread of avenging elves
Summoned by this mute decree:
"I sentence you to be yourselves."
—The perfect pillory!

How this identifying pin
Renders impossible parole;
Observe each voodo mannikin
Self-impaled upon his soul.

Of course (this is the splendid part!)
Should one be non-transgressing
Yet have this curse hurled at his heart,
The bane becomes a blessing.
